Noise levels at night could disturb sleep!!! Lack of tea/coffee facilities really hampers morning comfort!!!

The duplex suite was aesthetically pleasing and provided a luxurious feel, perfect for families needing privacy. The lack of staff at check-in was surprising for a four-star hotel, and the weather limited outdoor activities despite the available covered area.

I stayed in a Beautiful Double or Twin Room and it was fine! Super comfy bed and great linens that felt luxurious. The room was bright and airy with double-pane windows that blocked out the city noise. Plus, the bathroom was spacious with awesome shower pressure. Just loved the little details like the coffee maker and fluffy towels. Definitely.

We enjoyed the historical vibe . The staff's warmth and attentiveness stood out, especially the concierge who helped us with local tips. I suggest asking for extra water, particularly in the summer heat, to avoid paying high rates after store hours.

The room was wonderfully spacious, and the breakfast spread was superb, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. I loved the lovely terrace for evening drinks!

Some concerns arose , starting with the absence of an internal lock on the bedroom door, a bit unnerving for a solo traveler. I also had a single room that felt cramped and cost almost as much as a double room, which seemed a bit off. Breakfast service was unreliable, with items occasionally removed from tables and confusion over seating arrangements. The morning noise from street cleaning and high traffic could disrupt sleep-a common trade-off for such a central spot. Lastly, the terrace area for dining was left unlit and dreary when it could've been a cozy spot.

I had an very nice experience in this fine hotel with beautiful design and a spacious room, and it's situated just less than a 5-minute walk from the iconic Diocletian's Palace and the lively Riva waterfront, making it perfect for leisurely strolls around the charming streets of Split.
